P2togR: Purled right slanting decrease. Purl 2 sts together by purling both stitches at the same time. The right leg of the stitc is in front of the needle.

P2togL: Purled left slanting decrease. Purl 2 sts together by slipping two stitches, one at time, from left to right needle, as if to knit them. The left leg of the stitch is in front of the needle. Slip the stitches back onto the left needle and purl them together through the back loop.
